Hi 👋🏼 , I’m looking into transitioning early next year into a company closer related to the future of programming. I’m currently in the Bay Area and most likely going to stay here for awhile. I started like many here creating a
nodes and arrows
language some years ago. My biggest interests are: end-user-programming and semantic/projectional editors. You can view my cv in https://pel-daniel.github.io/cv/ A couple more links: • An awesome list of future of programming projects that I maintain https://github.com/pel-daniel/mind-bicycles • An animation to explain
map
&
reduce
HOF’s https://lambdabricks.github.io/animating-hofs/ • How recursion might look in a
nodes and arrows
language https://lambdabricks.github.io/exploring-recursion/ (click the + sign to expand the recursive calls) • An early prototype on a programming language that reads like natural text https://github.com/nlpl-lang/nlpl-editor/blob/master/README.md If anybody has leads into companies working on interesting projects with open positions please let me know!

Sorry, no position to offer on my side (and by the way Toulouse is far from the Bay Area). But I like your visual explanation of map and reduce, and of recursion. You real grasp what is goin on and it is explorable (at least if you add editing in the factorial example, which I guess you have left as exercise for the reader)

The link from your CV to “Lambda Bricks” is broken

Thanks @yairchu, I fixed it

There are a bunch of FoC companies in the Bay: @ellenchisa's Dark, Webflow, @Amjad Masad's Replit, Notion, Coda. Probably more not off the top of my head...

Thanks @stevekrouse, I’ll look at openings in their sites
