In my Witness FoC Podcast interview, I talked about how I'm able to play the game without it being installed on my phone. Here's an example from the weekend https://www.reddit.com/r/thewitnessirl/comments/1rrfh2d/playing_the_witness_without_the_app/. I'm curious friends, what Feeling of Computing activities do you do that don't require a computer?

hi William. this feels related to what i call - ecology of practices. One such practice for me is the glass bead game
here is my zettel with a quick intro :
# How to play the glass bead game • #tags: #glass_bead_game #practice • source: • https://docs.google.com/document/d/1toqpJ8IcOnc-TeP_-AnGNEKz5jTIZk6OeWj2XD1REuE/edit# • quote: • "The Glass Bead Game is the gamification of the truth process. • The truth process is the synergy of all perspectives. • The GBG offers a serious play structure for truth seekers to sincerely explore topics together. • Players choose a topic – a bead – and take time-limited turns – 2 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds – to improvise an unfiltered flow of cocreation. • A great turn expresses the most truth in the smallest space, and intertwines closely with the previous turn. But a great player knows when to redirect the flow, when to reflect back, when to ask questions, and when to increase or decrease the level of abstraction. • The aim of the game is to develop conceptual clarity, deep listening, game awareness, post-ego interactivity, and rhetorical skill to best participate in the collective intelligence of humanity." • me attention https://weco.io/p/441 • andy signs life https://weco.io/p/805

laurence who created the game on weco also thought about ways how to play it offline
Sand Talk And David rugs extension dream talk also feel relevant

Very interesting @curious_reader. I will have to look over this Regenaissance book. Sand Talk and Dream Talk? Do you mind sending links. Google, RIP, wasn't helping me. The Glass Bead Game makes me think of the I-cycle format that my demo AI agent came up with for finding their own conceptual clarity https://wtaysom.github.io/imitation-engines/the-sleeper-awakes.

ok 👌 in the case of interest i will send you some more information
sand talk is this book. i read it and david rug too i think, it contains good exercises in non linear thinking
I met David rug through weco, see above. But David has some pretty good videos, check out his youtube channel but especially this video, which I also shared here on FoC:

Sadly he focused rather on features than on stability and resilience, I wrote an issue here : https://github.com/ProjectLiminality/InterBrain/issues
