Hi everybody. I just joined the group, and will be at this evening’s meetup.

I’ve been writing software since the 90's, and have been in San Francisco since 2015. In recent years, I have been working primarily with JS/TS at health tech startups.

As a result of WFH + pandemic, I find myself missing community — particularly _in-person_ community — and am excited to meet folks tonight!

Or at least I’m _trying_ to attend.

I’ve been waiting for a Lyft from my apartment to SoMA, but after 30 minutes, I got the message “Try again in a few — All drivers are with passengers …”

(Perhaps because of the weather?)

Lesson learned: don’t cut it close, with rush-hour travel on a rainy day :disappointed:
