I think permission to create public channels is controlled by the admin of the Slack. I don’t remember many (any?) entire conversations focused on Christopher Alexander in the past, so it feels premature to make a channel for it.

Recently I've started a few, and there's more I can keep adding. I see a lot of potential depth to be explored in the work & ideas of C.A., and also other related people doing the similar things (Bjarke Ingells, Jane Jacobs) or building on his work (Jim Coplien, Linda Rising, Richard Gabriel). Maybe for now I'll copy what I've shared there so far, to here. And maybe I should just start my own blog about it.
