has anyone here played with idyll (https://idyll-lang.org/)? I’m just starting to explore it. reminds me a bit of pollen (https://docs.racket-lang.org/pollen/), too

I played with it a while back and explored most of the demos. It's really cool. In general everything that comes out of idl is top notch. The language does seem a bit ad hoc to me. I'm not sure if the platform will scale, especially versus ObservableHQ. But I think it's one of the best markdown expansions for interactive docs out there, and has at least a better shot than most of being a contender for top data driven story platforms in 3-5 years.

idyll looks interesting, thanks for sharing! At first glance, it looks like a great environment for someone skilled and dedicated to write high-quality explorable explanations. It does not look like a good environment to do explorative work, nor like a good environment for people who need to be productive quickly.
