Looking for interesting visual programming interfaces, I’ve been looking at a few games lately that all have programming elements as part of gameplay. I would add Factorio to the game list.

I heard about it, but haven’t played it. Can you describe what the programming element of it is?

I'd say the programming is implicit - you have to arrange a series of machines along a 2D grid to perform larger-scale tasks.

Yeah, it's implicit. I haven't played it either, but from what I hear from (coder) friends, you build more and more automated structures with increasing complexity, which revolves around the same space as programming does. I'm not sure if it's "actual" programming or not, but when you start considering visual programming paradigms and whatnot, there's a lot of same stuff there. Compare to something like eg. Minecraft redstone links.

If it's Turing Complete..

I came here to suggest Factorio as well. Without ever having played it either, just after watching videos. So it certainly seems to be successful at colonizing programmer minds. Nice list, Stefan! One of the rare 'awesome' lists I found useful.
