That just reminds me growing up on Atari computers that used audio for their I/O so you could hear the cassette and the floppy drive data by default. I got used to it and switching to a machine that didn't make sound during I/O made me feel like I shouldn't trust it 😂 Also, there were some cassette games that would load a loader, then turn off volume on the I/O channel (the left stereo channel) but leave on the right channel while they loaded the rest of the program. That right channel would have some kind of music/message. IIRC the cassette tape was only ~300baud so it would take 6 minutes to load a 32k program
