You can open ancient threads if you have links to comments within them Try clicking on https://futureofcoding.slack.com/archives/C5T9GPWFL/p1545427721022100?thread_ts=1545387390.005400&cid=C5T9GPWFL. Works for me in the web app. Did we already know this and I just didn't get the memo?! More likely it's undocumented and liable to stop working one of these days. Only seems to work for nested comments, not top-level posts in channels.

Interesting 1. "gone but not forgotten" is a little terrifying for synchronous communication, but I guess we have to assume that no company will willingly discard user data 2. It's disheartening how much they pay for a "premium" workspace when it seems they run that level of persistence for free workspaces anyway.

Yeah. You have to assume they retain everything because it does come back if you start paying. But it seems evil that they're literally just flipping bits to hide/show a post. It's not like it's stored in Glacier until you pay.

It's like paying for a new "channel" on TV, or a module in an accounting system. Everything is already there, you just don't have access. Sales support: Just enter this code for the AR module. User: <blink> It's there! You mean it's been there the whole time!?
