I was disappointed that the article isn't at all about hipsters, hippies, or hackers (of which I've been all 3 and have a lasting fondness for), but that's probably for the better since it's taking a lecturing tone and the thumbnail image is sort of grossly punching down. But the article's advice is solid. Not much more to say about it than that. Oh, and Swans is a great band. If you don't read the article because of the somewhat mocking thumbnail, note that the hipster shirt is legit.

The lecturing tone, bordering on rudeness, is part of Hanzi Freinacht's persona (it's the pen name of two writers who are a lot nicer when speaking under their own names).
