Before setting up a governance structure, first we should describe what kind of problems it supposed to solve. Different problems require different structures. I think we don't have much problems yet that need advanced governance structure. I'm fine with current. Simple is better.

I agree with @Duncan Cragg. The advantage of non-binding resolutions is that you can get everyone's opinion workout everyone sorting through the ramifications.
