One cool thing about Inform 7 (https://futureofcoding.slack.com/archives/C5T9GPWFL/p1551880024214000) is how it creates types as a side effect of their first use. I wish I could add units by just using them, and have units always be incompatible with other units by default.

I looked at the Reddit list of desired features, and it was a grab-bag of all the small things from other languages they wish were more prevalent. If you actually made a language with all those features it would be 1000 pages to learn.
I am of the opinion we need something powerful and simple.
