Would a demos channel where people can post their latest demo videos be helpful?

We have #CCL5VVBAN for people posting demos for the purpose of receiving feedback, so would a demos channel would be specifically for promotion? Or specifically code/video?

oh, I wouldn’t have guessed that from the name. I thought feedback was for the FoC podcast and slack suggestions.

The channel description is "Get feedback on your projects"

I only noticed the “#CCL5VVBAN” tab on the left. Now that you mention it, Ive discovered the channel description on the top once you browse into it but I don’t think I ever would have read that otherwise.

You can see descriptions for all channels at once by clicking the word "Channels" in the sidebar. Though it seems that those descriptions are different from the ones shown at the top when you open the channel. Slack is.. not coherent.

I guess my suggestion then is that it might be nice if the title itself was a sufficient description 🙂

My 2¢, I also feel the need for a separate #demos channel, in the sense that #CCL5VVBAN (in practice) seems to incite discussion around ideas and concepts, not only finished products. The #demos channel could be a showcase of just the latter, with little-to-no discussion, it would be really good (for me) as my main interest here is to check out what everyone is doing.
