Yes Kickstarter counts too as an investment. I used to be a VC in a private fund where we invested in a lot of startups. But lighttable / eve I did on my own. VC is mostly an overblown term people use these days to sound important though, as most VCs lose money and never make it

Ha, we started Fibery.io 3 years ago and are trying to rise a seed round now. I believe our vision is deep, but still it is hard to be honest 🙂
