In an interesting case of threads merging, the creator of Behavioral Programming[1] recently wrote a paper on Statecharts[2]:

I love the principle behind behavioral programming and Eve itself was very similar in concept, but I’m not particularly optimistic about it being a good direction. I’m really bullish on statecharts though.
