What do people here think of Deno?

I like everything except the relationship with typescript. But maybe that won't be as much of an issue in practice as I fear in theory.

It has a lot of excellent improvements but historically, when there’s “the thing that everyone uses” versus “the thing that’s pretty similar with incremental improvements”, it’s really hard for the 2nd thing to get traction

Interesting. Do you regard Deno as a FoC type project? I seem to but wonder if I am missing why we don’t cover it more here
