https://www.usenix.org/legacy/events/sec99/full_papers/whitten/whitten_html/index.html this was about how a new field usable security came to be. The point being that, it’s not just about stuff technically working it’s about making sure it usable. People in security used to be like if it’s not cryptography it doesn’t belong.
Sorry just got to these are the ones that are still my browser tab 🙂.
And yeah, one of the biggest problem is that papers are under a firewall (I know scihub I know :) ) but it meant I closed some links cos I could be bothered to check. TMI already
