Does anyone know what the folks at Dynamicland are up to these days? Their last tweet from 2020 says they're not inactive, "just quiet"

It's still active, but the pandemic has put a damper on how much they can do, naturally. They're moving on to another phase, but haven't shared anything publicly yet.

Glad to hear they're still alive! ๐ And eagerly waiting to learn more. Dynamicland pops into my head pretty regularly, this time triggered by riso prints on card catalogs

I've been wondering if they've made any changes to accommodate the work-from-home era. But last I read (pre-pandemic) they were very focused on face to face experiences

It is a sad irony that the world took a look at their notion of radical in-presence computing and said, "not today."

There was a really great literature review posted by Christoph Labcher this morning (https://twitter.com/chlabacher/status/1480585490113998849?s=20) that summarizes Gรถtz Bachmann's ethnographic research (who spent a lot of time observing the Dynamic Media Group, although unfortunately he had the tendency to only publish his findings in German): https://www.christophlabacher.com/notes/ethnographic-research-on-dynamicland
Still working my way through the reference tree there (if there are any German-speakers who would be willing to translate some of the articles in the Links & Literature section, that would be awesome!)
