Are there any Zactronics like games for functional programming?

@Robbie Gleichman’s Glance project comes to mind, though it's not animated. You might find something my visual programming codex, depending on what criteria you have in mind.

Wow! Glance is trying a lot. I’m curious how well it works as a first interface to learn Haskell, as opposed to through text. Robbie, have you seen anyone learn Haskell through Glance?

I've not heard of anyone using Glance to learn Haskell, for that I think it would need to be interactive. Also check out Tomasz's Glance fork which is has a totally different visual style (inspired by the paper "Visualizing Data-Flows in Functional Programs"), and has more interactive features for switching between the text and the diagrams.

Okay. I’m just interested because Clojure is my first serious programming language, and because I’m starting with it, I’m having an easier time starting with it than object oriented people switching do
