To expand on what Jimmy said: When I took over stewardship of the community, Steve didn't give me any high-quality source files for the logo, so I just recreated it as an SVG. A few months later, I opened that SVG in a different program, and it choked on the way the first program had structured the text paths. Pure coincidence — I didn't do any additional editing.
I like that it's sort of a wry self-comment on the name, and the lite datamosh / pop-art / corporate memphis style.

If we do change the name (something I'm still exploring), then yeah, we'll probably need a new logo too. Sadly.
