New mindstorms sets, fully programmable with a block based language that works mobile

I wonder if it'll be possible to run Linux on the block itself (like it's done with the EV3) ...

I remember the mindstorm set was one of my first introductions to programming as a kid

My first introduction was HyperCard, but my _second_ introduction was the Lego Dacta Control Lab, coded using Logo. Good times.

Inputs _and_ outputs. In the 90s. It was like flying.

<@UC2A2ARPT> I played with one of those dacta kits as a boy!  Bell Labs (where my dad worked) had one.

I never got a chance to use dacta but it looked really cool
