Interesting! Thanks. Something I'm focusing more on in 2021 is to get the conversation started about #abolishcopyright and #abolishpatents. I don't want to have that discussion here, since it can get pretty political, however I have found that there are a lot of people who have come to the conclusions that I have, that reform isn't the way to go and we need to fully abolish. Given that there are no organizations yet (at least in the US, AFAIK—I think worldwide the Pirate Party may be more established), working on that and giving a voice to people who have that stance, if you happen to already agree feel free to get in touch (breck7@gmail.com). Again, if you don't have that stance would love to debate it, but not here. Think politics should stay out of FOC 🙂

Yeah, I agree that software copyright and software patents in particular stretch old legal concepts past their breaking point.
Going back to OP, the second half is an extremely comprehensive list! It's kinda interesting to think about what fraction of those points modern corporations satisfy. On one hand, if we got them all open source would eat the world. On the other, perfect may be the enemy of good enough here.
