My quick answer would be that the activity and involvement in the community is not that high to require complex levels of organization, I'm more interested in increasing involvement and activity than in organization improvement. I don't think a different organization principle would help with involvement/activity.

I hang out on both, so obviously I think there's some overlap. On the other hand, I'm a lot more active here.
It's hard to separate communities from their apps, medium from message. Discord just doesn't fit my brain.

Discord works good enough for me. And its transforming by the day. Be it the events visibility or other features. I wonder if there are some kind of experiments we could do to find our if there exist a common ground we can use further along.
