Spent the last couple of weeks on vacay with the family. My wife came up with this great subjective photo scavenger hunt thing for us to do while we were there, to motivate the older kids to take and share photos while we were split up exploring the city. I had the idea to turn it into a web app. Took about 10h over a week. It was built using a platform for web SaaS apps, so if we wanted to sell subscriptions that would be about another two hours' work. I haven't quite figured out what it signifies. But I have felt my relationship to software changing this year, and this is an example of how: "PicMyPic.com is a gift I gave to my family for our vacation." And in case you were wondering, everyone (15-49) genuinely loved it. UI/UX and design credit entirely to my wife.
