Its made a huge difference spatially prompting. Its so much easier annotating the live object as I read it

Looks almost like Smalltalk / GT to me 🙂
Something a bit like this?

youtube.com/watch?v=…

t
yeah I think both projects share the principle of empowering enduser tooling. Lopecode is Javascript and a single HTML file with no external runtime (byond browser) which I think has distribution advantageous (e.g. native blog posts).
c
Have you look hat lively Kernel and other projects that tried to bring small talk to the browser?
There is even some Icon similarity 🙂
t
yes Giliad keeps reviewing my papers and he likes my direction.

he is considering the value of markdown the primary editing interface for ampelforth after he read observablehq.com/@tomlarkworthy/editable-md

c
is this your public interface? where can I see the interface from your image above on that URL?
t
this is still under development but its the quickstart. Basically Lopecode is close to unusable for anybody except me but I am in the phase now of making it understandable and easier to use now
c
😄
I thought so
t
yeah jsut a lot of tech to get working, but the foundations are good now and it more about documenting it and putting the features in the right UX place.
c
I would love to have a LLM helping to tweak some of the interface aspects fluently.
t
try the quickstart, it boots straight into an embedded AI

So when I say: I know ideas like Visual studio, eclipse or intelliJ, generate me a familar interface. That would be nice
sorry for capturing the thread , you said Foc is now also in roomy,
if I have this URL wher eI can add spaces
where and how do I add the Foc bridge you created yesterday?
Ah they probably need to change some things right?
t
no FoC is replicated to Colibri
c
Im now here:
image.png
how do I get to see the FoC Community then? Sorry for the support thread 🙂
How can I see and interact with Foc from : colibri.social/app
?
t
oh there is an invite link now colibri.social/invite/…
c
Nice it works
you should add that to the bridge documentation
otherwise nobody know how to get there 🙂
t
PRs welcome, its in Github
c
I saw it will do!
Done!
t
link to PR and ask @Ivan Reese to review it or give me maintainer rights to the wiki repo...

c
is the bridge read only?
it says when I want to reply "your not a member of this community" ?
Ah I see first i need to use the invite and then th eURL
t
We dont write back the conversation to slack so it's a bit one way.
c
ah I see
t
Quite risky but it's hard to see how we can get that going with out bidirectional, quite dangerous to code though because of loops
Maybe necessary though, if we like colibri.
Not sure though, I don't really like discord style
c
how difficult do you think it would be to bridge to roomy? They have bidirectional working , still threads are a bit buggy
t
The bridge exports a raw slack feed so we can choose a different target, so U can try without my involvement
well bidi would require a slack admin
c
Nice ! I will ask zig then how difficult it would be to get going
We should talk to ivan about this, how many people really DO need slack? roomy, colibri , if we have a AtProto native group chat that would be so much better
t
I approved github.com/feelingofcomputing/wiki/pull/23#… but that is not enough to merge it (prefer "Ivy" over "Ivan")
