Greetings -- I'm a media artist based in NYC. I am also a professor at MIT Media Lab where I have a research group exploring tools that artists and designers will be using in the future (media.mit.edu/groups/future-sketches/projects). I helped make openframeworks (a c++ creative coding tool) and helped start the school for poetic computation. I post sketches made with code every day here (for over 10 years): instagram.com/zach.lieberman.... This summer I'm working on a project that is considering how to use ai in an intentional way w/ creative coding. I just discovered the podcast in the course of that research so I'm happy to wind up here!

instagram.com/zach.lieberman looks incredible. I wish I had a functioning Instagram account right now 😛 I'm especially impressed be the various ribbon-like structures (like the one from the MIT Media Lab thumbnail above). I never quite figured out how to draw these in real time... 🤔

Hi Zach. I’m also interested in creative coding and creative-process related projects. I did my Ph.D. and am currently at NYU, so it would be great to connect. Your visual pieces are really cool. To share something of mine, I’ve made this storytelling and worldbuilding interface based on drawing and talking interaction: https://ktrosenberg.github.io/drawtalking/ I'm not sure about AI, but I’m also interested in interfaces that are about support process human and performance as opposed to just product.
