If the spots still open I can show some stuff I've been tinkering with. I've been exploring very low level stuff. Generally trying to see how much abstraction and complexity I can live without while (eventually) still having all the nice things I personally care about. My general goals are to: 1) reduce frustrations (such as when I open the Settings app on Windows and i takes 10 seconds just to show a page of text) 2) to get as close as possible to complete understanding and control over my computer hardware 3) have a foundation I'm satisfied with to build cool things on top of Some steps I've taken recently in this direction that I can demo: 1) wrote a GPU machine code disassembler to better understand how my GPU really works 2) wrote a "projectional editor" for x64 machine code 3) wrote a me-sized calc.exe replacement all the above are not anywhere near feature complete, but are kind of a proof of concept and maybe interesting talking points. Also all the above were made for Handmade Network software jams - it seems that without the deadline of the jams I tend to just endlessly tinker lol

@NoxNode yes! that'd be great! make sure you've got about 7 minutes worth to present (sounds like you'll have at least that, so maybe focus on the most immediately legible bits).
