I do like this atproto stuff. I did local-first coz I did not like the whole cloud thing, I am aligned with Martin Kleppmann that its a trap. But it also sucks because there is no sharing with files on disk, or its kinda of hard anyway. But atproto is like leapfrogging that whole problematic area with movable signed storage, so you kinda of get the networking without the controlling forces of domain registries.
