What do you guys think? About a project run by multiple online communities, each responsible for some aspect or feature. For example, right now, I'm working on a gamified collaboration platform. And instead, keeping the leaderboard of the most active users on platform, maybe contact specific organizations who already does it. If I will add the admin panel, and they handle it on the platform.
I'm actually inspired by Astro Framework, that supports other JS frameworks.

There's a similar situation with Wikipedia, Commons, Wikidata, and now increasingly Wikifunctions, where each community works on certain aspects of creating the best possible Wikipedia experience, but also on their own goals.

@Denny Vrandečić that's the right approach! I mean something even more general. Where a category is the same, but projects have no affiliations at all. For example, I'm working on the Social Media platform for the open-source communities, but it's leaderobards or contensts I would delegate to this community or to https://maintaine.rs/ While, it's UI/frontend is done completely different team at all. And basically it's all tech is built as packages/apps and each of them is independent team not affiliated by each other.
