Cooking recipes are like little algorithms. One of my friends made a UI mockup for a visual recipe design tool. It was done for a game, but maybe something like this could be used for regular algorithms. Sharing for inspiration.

@Cameron Yick no direct link unfortunately. Its from a steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2455360/Cooking_Simulator_2_Better_Together/ . I should have mentioned him actually 😓 He's Dawid Ignar. He was an art director for that game and is doing some freelancing now.

I tried to make something similar in UI, and put on aside for a later. Eventually, even as the professional software engineer, I realised I would still use it if it's used to represent services and files. Use that instead file manager to present the project. And then program each component as it was a file. Then, with AI update the shape to represent the object. And all the logs, or data flow is shown as a light going between objects. Designing nested lego for architecture of the software. 🙂 This is what Im trying to add.
