Hello everyone 🙂 My name is Lucía (she/her), I’m a 30yo trans woman based in Brussels, Belgium. I have an education in computer science, that ended with me getting disillusioned and dropping out of a PhD on the topic of bias in machine learning systems. I play music (with small synths and LSDJ) and I am slowly teaching myself to design and build musical electronic circuits. I have followed since, and have loved it more and more with each new iteration of cast and format. I have interests in livecoding languages for music, in esolangs in general, in permacomuting and computing within limitations. Outside of computing, recently my research obsessions have been western esotericism and weaving. I’m eager to meet the people here and see what this community is like!
