I'm coming from Park Slope, Brooklyn so either DUMBO or lower Manhattan is preferred. I know there are a few nice open areas around DUMBO I can suggest. e.g. Time Out Market Brooklyn

it's actually kind of open air mall / food court / market like -- so I'm guessing 30 people can show up and mill around and pick at drink / food from a few different places and hang by outside tables?
