Hi, my name's Ryan. I've worked in and around the more corporate low-code/no code space, which isn't always great but I've spent a long time thinking about end user programming. I've also built some tools for LED art, though they've bitrotted slightly by now. AI coding agents have me simultaneously extremely pessimistic about code as craft and optimistic about expanding what's possible with computers, and I want to figure out how to be on the right side of that line. I'm between jobs and reading a bunch of papers which led me here, and this feels like the sort of place that skews towards optimism.
