Looks like SPL meeting rooms are more popular than I thought. They are all reserved.

Yeah, unless you are super flexible in time/location or just happen to find a spot that works, they book up early. The group I organize has been trying to book at least 60 days out to get what we want

It makes sense it would be popular. I didn’t see the availability until I created an account. We’re going to be a small group so I’m thinking we just pick a coffee shop this time.

If people want a projector and SLU works, I could probably coopt a conference room at my office. Would just have to try to get people together on time and have people txt me to get in the building if they're late

@abeyer: one cute setup for that would be to meet at a nearby coffeeshop for 30m or so, for people to arrive, and then move to office. just a thought!

IDK where @abeyer’s work is, but Caffe Ladro & Cafe Hagen are both open till 6p on Friday.

I'm at Denny & Westlake, so either of those could work, or I'm fine just doing a coffee shop too, if we don't think we need a screen

@Daniel Worthington mentioned 6pm as the ideal time, and those shops close at 6pm, so I think they’re only good for a short pre-gathering. (Unless timing is flexible.)
