Why are you doing your FoC project?

There’s a strong component of play, but also a goal of building a tool in which one can more easily be playful - in the sense of casually building and exploring potentially useful tools.

I'm distressed by this recent realignment in Wintergaten. I feel like he is struggling with balancing the motivation of building the machine with the motivation for people to watch him build the machine. Iteration is not sexy. It just works better.
