Hey all, I'm Gabriel, and this is my first time sharing Flyde here - a flow-based programming platform I've been working on lately. I'm a big fan of FBP and am convinced it didn't catch due to 2 factors:1. previous attempt's had GUIs that weren't good enough. They didn't take complete advantage of the visual layer 2. implementation was hard and integration with existing workflows (ci/cd, version control) was almost impossible

Feedback is welcome! and looking forward to share more progress in the future 🕺

Added continuation passing HTTP fetch to my language. Also implemented another type provider to decode JSON dependent on the type that is needed. https://vimeo.com/728943149

I got my message passing working for my universal web app. By my definition universal is where a single program, single language and single type environment extend over client and server. https://vimeo.com/733332434

Any thoughts on how this relates to the existing timestamp and chapter features YouTube provides? Of course those have to be set by the video publisher, and I’m not sure what equivalents there are on other platforms.

Good evening, I've added concurrency to my interpreted runtime. https://vimeo.com/737991282 I have previously been compiling to JS and using FFI to a layer underneath for my universal apps. but that was not giving enough control.

This week (Week 33) I've tried building a completely pure actor based runtime. https://petersaxton.uk/log/ I think it's somewhat promising as an approach but I wonder if at this point I should write a fully fledged effect type for my system. Also is it even possible to represent dynamic types in a structurally typed system.
